Here’s a quick overview of some of the pre-existing ways that you can work and connect with National Theatre Wales. However, we’re not ones to take a one-size-fits-all approach to any aspect of what we do and we believe everything starts with a conversation, so if you have something more bespoke in mind, then drop us a line using the form below.
If you’re interested in finding other ways of working with us, please contact Hannah John at email@example.com.
NTW’s framework develops creative talent across art forms, and all over the country. It is a leading model for the support and development of artists and new work in order to expand and enable a more dynamic and ambitious independent arts sector. Actively encouraging artists to work in more collaborative ways, to take bolder risks and be braver in their artistic aspirations, the programme also enables international opportunities and exchange, magnifying the profile of Welsh artists and exposing them to innovative international practice.
NTW Collaboration and TEAM International
TEAM is NTW’s pioneering model of engagement. It is a worldwide, diverse network of people who collaborate with the company, create work in their communities, give feedback about NTW’s work and inform all its decisions. It is a catalyst for change, building long-term relationships with a focus on empowerment, leadership and creative activism. TEAM International encourages the exchange and promotion of overseas, participant-led networks, who apply the same spirit and methodologies of TEAM to shared learning and best practice between nations.
We are keen to work with partners to extend our international reach in all these areas; touring our work, undertaking new commissions, developing artists and commissioning international companies ourselves. We also travel throughout the world, sharing models with other companies and agencies interested, as we are, in theatre that works in new ways with artists, places and people.
