Mess Up The Mess
'Are we just another tick in the wall?'
Are exams a test of your memory?
GCSE’s are done in 2 weeks of a year that can define the rest your future. This feel like a test of how much information your brain holds rather than what your ability or understanding really is. Many young people end up learning more about stress than the subject they are actually studying! Stress management is one of those real life skills that could be taught in schools but isn’t!
WHY DON’T OUR YOUNG PEOPLE GET TAUGHT ABOUT REAL LIFE?
WHO IS OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM REALLY SERVING?
HOW CAN WE CREATE EDUCATION THAT IS RELEVANT AND USEFUL TO THE FULL SPECTRUM OF YOUNG PEOPLE THAT LIVE IN WALES?
IS THERE AN ALTERNATIVE TO A ONE SIZE FITS ALL EXAM BASED SYSTEM?
WHAT EFFECT IS THE CURRENT EDUCATION SYSTEM HAVING ON OUR MOST VUNERABLE YOUNG PEOPLE?
ARE WE PUTTING SCHOOLS UNDER PRESSURE TO COMPETE AGAINST EACH OTHER RATHER THAN EDUCATE?
Vote for us to ensure that young people from Mess Up The Mess Theatre Company based in Ammanford can stage an interactive debate with the whole community and come up with creative ideas to inspire a more inclusive and relevant education system!
