What to expect

Iliad is a promenade production staged at the Ffwrnes, Llanelli. Each individual episode will last around 2 hours.

The venue is fully accessible, with disabled toilets and step-free access to the performance space.

The audience will move around the space in this promenade style production. Seats are available throughout for those who need them or for those who want a break. As with any promenade production, it is advisable to wear comfortable shoes.

Each of the four episodes can be booked and viewed individually, all four evening shows can be booked and seen across the two weeks, or all four episodes can be seen in a marathon all day (on Sat 26th Sept) or overnight (on the night of Sat 3rd Oct). The Ffwrnes is located in Llanelli town centre. There are plenty of food and drink outlets nearby. For those attending the overnight marathon performance, catering will be available for purchase at the venue.

Travel

The Ffwrnes is within walking distance of three car parks, Llanelli’s main bus station and the train station is only a 15-minute walk away.

If you are travelling by train, the individual evening shows will be finished in time for the last train east out of Llanelli towards Cardiff. Please see below for more information.

By Car:

East Gate car park is the nearest to the venue. Please use postcode SA15 3YF - this will take you to East Gate car park.

Short Stay Parking

There is chargeable, short-term parking at East Gate car park between 8am and 6pm Monday to Saturday. Four hours’ maximum stay is currently £2.00. Parking is free overnight between 6pm and 8am and all day Sunday.

Long Stay Parking

Edgar Street car park near Old Road surgery. Postcode for this car park is SA15 3HW.

Church Street car park near Vauxhall Surgery (please note that there are only a limited number of long-stay bays). Postcode for this car park is SA15 3BD

By Coach and Bus:

Llanelli’s main bus station is adjacent to The Ffwrnes. National Express operates services into Llanelli and there are extensive local bus services.
