About Fly the Flag

Fly the Flag is a collaboration between arts organisations and human rights charities which celebrates and reminds us of the human rights we all share.

It raises awareness of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights amongst young people and shines a light where human rights are violated.

This year, Fly the Flag is highlighting Article 20 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights – the right to protest.

Together with our project partners, we’re inviting young people across all nations of the UK to co-create work with leading theatre artists and associates around this theme.

Here in Wales, we're working with young people aged 16 to 25 to explore the power of protest through performance, movement and music.

All this work was filmed and showcased in a celebration on Human Rights Day, 10 December.
