MARATHON PERFORMANCES: SPECIFIC INFORMATION

During both marathons, the café at Ffwrnes will be open, serving a selection of sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes and soups, along with teas and coffees, and both alcoholic and soft drinks. Please see below for specific venue opening times for each marathon performance.

There are a couple of restaurants in the area offering discounts for ticket-holders:

10% discount (applies to food only) for ticket holders.
Bookings advisable. 
Open prior to all individual performances as well
 

You’re more than welcome to bring items with you that will make you more comfortable, such as blankets and pillows for the overnight marathon. We won’t be able to allow these items into the performance space, so there will be cloakroom facilities available for free throughout both marathon performances.

We’d recommend wearing comfortable shoes, and layers.

By Train

Train times from Llanelli, after both marathons, have recently changed, therefore we would recommend planning your journey carefully and in advance, and also considering travel from other stations. Click here to search train times

ALL-DAY MARATHON (Sat 26 Sept)

The first part will begin at 10.30am.

The Ffwrnes building and Café/Bar will open at 9am.

The Café/Bar will be open throughout each of the intervals, with different offerings available on each interval, including snacks, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, and hot / cold drinks.

OVERNIGHT MARATHON (Sat 3 Oct)

The Ffwrnes building is open from 11am and the Café/Bar will open at 5pm.

The Café/Bar will open on each of the intervals, with different offerings available on each interval, including snacks, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, and hot / cold drinks.

Alcohol will only be served until the middle interval, and will not be served after midnight.

After the overnight marathon , the venue will stay open until 9.30am. Teas, coffees and breakfast will be available for purchase.

We’d recommend planning your journey home after the overnight marathon carefully, and only travelling once you feel able to do so.
