TEAM members are invited to join us for a talk on participatory art with renowned community artist, writer and consultant, François Matarasso.

This talk will look at the rise of participation in contemporary art and culture over the past 20 years, and set out some of the reasons why it has happened. It will consider the different intentions that artists and funders bring to this work, and highlight some of the tensions that can result from the assumptions made on all sides. It will draw ‘I Remember, Leicester’, a recently completed project facilitated by François Matarasso to make some of these ideas tangible in everyday arts practice. You can find out more about François’ work here: www.arestlessart.com

Entrance is free but places are limited so please email team@nationaltheatrewales.org by Thursday 24th October 2019 to book. Not a member of TEAM yet?  No problem, joining is easy, just click here
