National Theatre Wales are looking for Trustees to join their Board.
We’re looking for some dynamic individuals with belief in theatre as a force for change to join us as we embark on the next stage of our journey. If you think you could play a role in helping support and inspire our contribution to a more equal and inclusive Welsh society underpinned by a thriving creative culture – then we would love to hear from you.
It is vital that our Board represents the contemporary nation that our organisation exists for. We are therefore looking particularly for applications from younger candidates, as well as people who experience racism, identify as disabled and / or LGBTQ+. We’re not looking for previous experience of Boards or Governance, just individuals who can represent the diverse perspectives and lived experiences of Welsh life, with relevant skills and experience in the areas of Theatre-making (as writer, director, actor, designer, stage manager, technician, community practitioner or producer), politics and the policy-making context in Wales and beyond, social change and equality, fundraising, Welsh language and culture; or quite simply, anyone who is passionate about theatre as a means to inspire change.
If you think you are that person, and feel like you share our values, ideals and aspirations, then we’d love to connect. If you would like to have a chat about whether this might be for you, or more information about how to apply, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
For more information please find the information pack below
If you’re thinking of putting yourself forward to join our Board, please note that some versions of the recruitment pack list the wrong closing date in some places. The closing date is Wednesday 11 November, midday.
