Dave mangenner Gough
Dave mangenner Gough is a proud trawlwoolway man from north east Tasmania. In 2019 Dave launched the Ten Days on the Island festival where he conceived, led and narrated mapali – Dawn Gathering. This took 1000 people, gathered on a beach, through a journey of ceremony and ritual. Dave currently has work on a permanent display at Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery in Launceston, he was also a co-finalist in the Bay of fires art prize in 2018 and has been heavily involved in the protection of Aboriginal heritage sites across the state.
