ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

As well as being Artistic Director of August 012, Mathilde López has had a long relationship with NTW and we’re excited to welcome her as Associate Director. Previously, she has worked at Theatre Royal Stratford East and as a freelance director for Welsh National Opera, Longborough Opera Festival and Festival Of Voice. She lives in Grangetown, Cardiff.

Mathilde’s past work for NTW includes City of the Unexpected as Associate Director, DE GABAY as Associate Director and Tonypandemonium as Director. She is currently working on Petula, a brand-new adaptation of Fabrice Melquiot’s play Wanted Petula, alongside NTW and Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru.
