Hi, I’m Naomi and I’m originally from west Wales but moved to Cardiff where I studied English Literature and Philosophy. After graduating, I decided to stay in Cardiff and didn’t leave until eleven years later.
In that time I worked for the British Red Cross, completed a PCGE in English and Drama, got married, taught in Tanzania, travelled (quite a lot), completed a Masters degree in Scriptwriting, worked for five years as an English and Music teacher in Barry, co-wrote a musical performed at Chapter Arts Centre and in Austin, Texas and gave birth to two children! I have now returned to west Wales where I was lead teacher of English at an independent Secondary School as well as a community theatre-maker and proud mum of three. I now work four days a week with NTW and one day in education.
I joined National Theatre Wales through my association with TEAM and I love the world of NTW and all that is has to offer. Outside of work, you can find me at the beach with a book.
