Roger Awan-Scully is Head of Politics and International Relations, and Professor of Political Science at Cardiff University. His academic work focusses on political representation in the UK and Europe, with a particular emphasis on devolution. He is a frequent commentator on politics in the media, and was awarded the Political Studies Communicator of the Year award by the UK Political Studies Association in December 2017. He is author of numerous books and academic analyses, including The End of British Party Politics? (Biteback, 2018) and Elections in Wales: Democracy in a Semi-Sovereign Nation (University of Wales Press, forthcoming).
