Booking info

Useful information when booking tickets for our events.

Tickets

Booking via National Theatre Wales

When you book a ticket for an event via our website you will be offered an ‘E-ticket’ which will be emailed to you after the transaction has been confirmed.

To help us save paper, you do not need to print this in advance. You can bring the ticket to the event on your mobile or tablet and show it to a box office member of staff when you arrive. If you don’t have a mobile or tablet, simply note down the order number and name of the ticket buyer.

Booking via a partner venue

For some of our events, the venue looks after your tickets. The venue’s ticketing policy will therefore apply. Please check with them before booking and if you need to print a ticket beforehand.

Refund policy

Booking via National Theatre Wales

We will only refund a ticket if the event is sold out and there is someone on the waiting list who will buy that ticket.

If you can’t make an event, we can credit your account so you can buy a ticket from us for an event you would like to attend in the future.

When a full or partial refund is issued, it will always be onto the card that was originally used for the payment. We cannot make a refund to another payment card.

Booking via a partner venue

For some of our events, the venue looks after your tickets. In these cases, the venue’s refund policy will apply. Please check their policy before booking.

What happens if an event is cancelled or postponed?

If an event is cancelled or postponed, you will be contacted by your point of purchase about a refund or exchange.
