Trusts and foundations

Since its inception, NTW has worked with trusts and foundations and other grant-giving bodies to create groundbreaking theatre and deliver our unique collaborative model, called TEAM. We’re hugely grateful for their essential support.

Here’s a quick look at some of the things they are helping us achieve.

  • Esmée Fairbairn Foundation. We want to broaden the creative workforce of Wales by supporting remarkable artists and collectives to make work that shatters expectations. We are supporting Welsh theatre-makers to do things they haven’t done before to push our understanding of what Welsh theatre is and can be. Esmée Fairbairn Foundation is helping us do it. Explore what we're doing - and why.

  • Paul Hamlyn Foundation. We are all about making connections that light creative sparks across Wales. TEAM is at the heart of this and its amazing work has been made possible with the generous support of the Paul Hamlyn Foundation. Read more about TEAM.

  • John Ellerman Foundation. We work with Welsh theatre-makers to develop work and careers. Everyone in Wales - and beyond - benefits from helping them be brilliant. John Ellerman Foundation is supporting the development of dramaturgs so they can explore and develop innovative ways of working, question how we make theatre, and what more we can do to inspire excellence. • The PRS Foundation, the UK's leading charitable funder of new music and talent development, is supporting Feral Monster, a pyrotechnic joyful, chaotic, musical new play from Bethan Marlow and directed by Izzy Rabey, with musical direction by Nicola T Chang, about the mess, confusion, danger and possibility of being a young queer teenager in an overlooked place in an overlooked generation.
